Obama's 5 Health Care Myths

Obama's 5 health care LIES
If you're trying to follow the health care debate, you know there
are some "truths" which have been repeated so frequently, and with such
vehemence, that they have become gospel. How often have you heard "the
costs are skyrocketing" or "our system is broken" or "Americans
overwhelmingly support reform"?
Here's a heads-up: Some of these are
simply baloney.
For instance, those pushing reform have described our healthcare
system as "broken," thus in desperate need of overhaul. The primary
evidence for this claim is a report issued by the World Health
Organization in 2000 which ranked the U.S. 37th in overall "health
performance" despite being number one in spending. (It is noteworthy
that the WHO no longer publishes such a ranking -- deeming the process
"too difficult.") Betsy McCaughey, in a recent talk before the
Manhattan Institute, noted that the rankings were heavily weighted
towards social goals, and less towards the effectiveness of medical
care. In other words, the WHO studied the distribution of
medical attention, and the fairness in financial contribution, placing
as much weight on such issues as on actual performance.

Will Obama Meet His Match in Russia?

The Russians, to start with, have never been all that enthralled
with the Obama phenomenon.
Barack Obama often seems to have much of the planet at his feet in rapt attention to his every word. But the president as global oracle is about to meet his stony match --
in the vast and barren place that proved a graveyard for Napoleon and
that has an ingrained suspicion of foreigners as an abiding quality of
its cultural DNA. That place, of course, is Russia, which Obama
plans to visit this month. The president will find a Kremlin amenable
to doing business with him on traditional diplomatic matters like
reducing nuclear weapons stockpiles, so long as Moscow is convinced the
deal is an even one. But if Obama, more ambitiously, hopes to
win over the hearts of the Russian people -- along the lines of his
recent Cairo address, pitched over the heads of the governments of the
Islamic world and straight at their citizenry -- he can expect to leave
disappointed.

UK is now 'Labour-induced' violent crime capital of Europe
Analysis of figures from the European Commission showed a 77 per cent increase
in murders, robberies, assaults and sexual offences in the UK since Labour
came to power.
The total number of violent offences recorded compared to population is higher
than any other country in Europe, as well as America, Canada, Australia and
South Africa.
Opposition leaders said the disclosures were a "damning indictment"
of the Government's failure to tackle deep-rooted social problems.
The figures combined crime statistics for England, Wales, Scotland and
Northern Ireland.
The UK had a greater number of murders in 2007 than any other EU country – 927
– and at a relative rate higher than most western European neighbours,
including France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Facebook 'Sparked White Flight From MySpace'

In this editor's opinion, the above title of this report should read: Blacks 'Sparked White Flight From MySpace' -- Ed.
A "WHITE flight" to Facebook has turned MySpace into a black ghetto, according to a social analyst in the US.
Danah Boyd said Facebook's arrival sparked a migration from MySpace
of white users, the educated and the wealthy, while non-whites had
stuck together on MySpace.
MySpace is owned by News Corp, the parent company of the publisher of NEWS.com.au.
"It
wasn't just anyone who left MySpace to go to Facebook," Ms Boyd, who
works with Microsoft Research New England, told a crowd at New York's
Democracy Forum.
"We might as well face an uncomfortable reality ... what happened was modern day 'white flight'."
Ms Boyd said MySpace had become a digital "ghetto".

Amnesty Accuses Israel of Using Human Shields in Gaza

Amnesty International on Thursday accused Israeli forces of war
crimes, saying they used children as human shields and conducted wanton
attacks on civilians during their offensive in the Gaza Strip. The
London-based human rights group also accused Hamas of war crimes, but
said it found no evidence that the Islamist rulers of Gaza used
civilians as human shields during the 22-day offensive Israel launched
on December 28. It also reiterated its call for an international arms embargo against Israel. "Much of the destruction was wanton and resulted from direct attacks on civilian objects," Amnesty said in a study. Israeli
troops forced Palestinians to stay in one room of their home while
turning the rest of the house into a base and sniper position,
"effectively using the families, both adults and children, as human
shields and putting them at risk," the group said.

Firefighter Case Shows Seamy Side of Racial Politics

It may
remind some of us old enough to remember of the machinations and
contrivances of Southern white officials and agitators employed to
prevent blacks from registering and voting. The Supreme Court's decision in Ricci v. DeStefano, the case of the
New Haven firefighters, was a ringing endorsement of the Civil Rights
Act of 1964's ban on racial discrimination and a repudiation of Supreme
Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor's decision in the Second Circuit U.S.
Court of Appeals. While five justices flatly rejected Sotomayor's
ruling, even the four dissenters wouldn't have let stand her ruling
allowing the results of a promotion exam to be set aside because no
black firefighter had a top score.
Ricci is also something else: a riveting lesson in political
sociology, thanks to the concurring opinion by Justice Samuel Alito. It
shows how a combination of vote-hungry politicians and local political
agitators -- you might call them community organizers -- worked with
the approval of elite legal professionals like Sotomayor to employ
racial quotas and preferences in defiance of the words of the Civil
Rights Act.
One of the chief actors was the Rev. Boise Kimber, a supporter of
Mayor John DeStefano. The mayor testified for him as a character
witness in a 1996 trial in which he was convicted of stealing prepaid
funeral expenses from an elderly woman. DeStefano later appointed
Kimber the head of the board of fire commissioners, but Kimber resigned
after saying he wouldn't hire certain recruits because "they just have
too many vowels in their name."

America's Money-Grubbing, Racial Extortionists

No apology and certainly no reparations are going to make a bit of difference in the lives of those they are supposedly for.*Tell me how an apology for slavery and Jim Crow makes blacks any
better off. The answer, of course, is that it doesn't. But to that
point, it never was about apologies was it? It has always been about
reparations.
Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., head of the Congressional Black
Caucus said, "I would not want to have any language in place that would
deny anyone, any citizen, the right to address a grievance." For those
not familiar with legalese – "right to address a grievance" is a benign
way of saying, "right to sue for megabucks based on a real or perceived
wrong."
Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., said, "I feel that some method
other than just an apology should be made – people should be whole."
Once again, for those not familiar with the language, "should be made
whole," simplistically put, means "should get a ton of money to repair
a complaint."
And that is exactly what has these elapidal, greedy,
money-grubbing, racial extortionists so exercised. They want money, and
the apology is simply the viscous lubricant that greases the
machinations of their intent.

The New Haven Firefighter Case: Was He the Culprit?

More than likely. -- Ed.
Three of the Supreme Court justices who voted
against New Haven in Monday’s landmark firefighters case ruling zeroed
in on one character they saw playing a nefarious role: the Rev. Boise
Kimber (pictured right).
In fact, Kimber’s role as a New Haven politico, felon, and FOJ
(Friend of John, Mayor DeStefano) ended up sparking a lively debate
between the Supreme Court’s conservative and liberal wings.
This is the latest in a two-decade-long saga of how Kimber
(pictured) has caused political headaches for DeStefano while receiving
repeated political plums from the mayor, including a controversial
“consulting” housing contract that figured prominently in a 1998 City
Hall corruption scandal.
DeStefano in turn has relied on the Newhallville preacher to carry
his banner in the black community in pivotal Democratic mayoral
primaries dating back to his 1989 contest against John Daniels and his
2001 race against Martin Looney.

Muslims living in Britain are under orders from Sharia courts to regard “fighting with Britons and Americans as a religious duty” a shocking new report on Sharia courts in Britain has claimed.
Issued by independent think tank Civitas, the new report, called “Sharia Law or ‘One Law for All’?” and authored by Islamic specialist Denis MacEoin, also says that there are now around 85 Sharia courts in Britain.
The open declaration of war - Jihad - against ordinary British and American people by Islamic law courts is a damning indictment of the treason committed by the Tory and Labour parties in allowing millions of Muslims to settle in Britain.

The Honduran Counter-Coup

The nation of Honduras has a constitution with a democratically-elected set of officials. But they also had a strong arm despot running the country, Mel Zelaya, who was just going to basically rip Honduras' democracy to shreds. The country moved in to stop in him from doing it. Barack Obama, however, sides with Mel Zelaya who aspired to be another Hugo Chavez socialist. -- Ed.
At first blush, the news from Honduras sounds like a sad return to Latin
America’s past: A democratically elected president has been exiled by
the military. But make no mistake: The Honduran soldiers who escorted
Pres. Manuel Zelaya from his home on Sunday were acting to protect their
country’s democracy, not to trample it. Moreover, they had the full
support of the Honduran Supreme Court, which had rejected Zelaya’s bid
to hold a referendum on “constitutional reform.”
The proposed
referendum, illegal without an act of Congress, aimed to launch a
“constituent assembly” that would draft an entirely new constitution.
Zelaya’s ultimate goal was to extend or abolish presidential term
limits, mimicking the example of Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chávez and
other Latin American populists. Hondurans rightly feared that such a
maneuver would set their country on the path to Chávez-style
authoritarianism. When the Supreme Court rebuffed him, Zelaya defied
its ruling and sought to proceed with the referendum anyway. Along with
a large group of followers, he ransacked a military post and seized
millions of referendum ballots.

Mainstream parties rush to prevent far-right from seizing control of councilThe French political establishment scrambled yesterday to try to
block a significant electoral breakthrough by the daughter of the
veteran far-right leader Jean-Marie Le Pen.
Marine Le
Pen, 40, and her running-mate topped the poll on Sunday night's
municipal by-election in Hénin-Beaumont, an impoverished former coal
mining town near Lens in the Pas de Calais. Having won nearly 40 per
cent of the votes cast in the first round, the Le Pens' National Front
party is in a strong position to capture its first town hall for seven
years in the run-off ballot this Sunday. It would be the first time
that the ultra-nationalist, anti-immigrant, anti-European party has
taken control of a town council in the depressed industrial areas of
northern France. Victory would also strengthen Mme Le Pen's chances of
inheriting, and attempting to modernize the NF, when her 81-year-old
father retires in the next two to three years.

Try and say that Europe has ethnic people and traditions that must be

Conservative philosopher Roger Scruton has written that “ an ideology

is to dehumanise the enemy so that it can be persecuted or even
assassinated without conscience. They think it will fool the public
when they try to outlaw the BNP’s racial admission rules, despite
leaving the various black and Asian groups to operate their own racial
membership policies.
These comments show the Ideological Caste’s dehumanisation of its
enemies in language they would otherwise eagerly attribute to Nazis:

BNP Confronts Ban Threat
In a move dripping with the most outrageous irony, the head of the overtly non-whites only "Society of Black Lawyers" has called for race laws to be tightened to prevent the British National Party from distributing leaflets such as the one used by the party in the Greater London Assembly election last year.
Mr Peter Herbert, the chairman of the Society of Black Lawyers, has already formally complained over the BNP leaflet, which showed how white British people have been ethnically cleansed from the streets of many parts of London.
Not too surprisingly, his complaint went nowhere, and in a childish outburst he has now called on the Government to change the law to outlaw any expression of indigenous aspirations - while, of course, ignoring the fact that he heads up an organization whose membership is exclusively aimed at looking after the interests of non-white, non-indigenous people.

Michael Hoffman
from On the Contrary
We pause in our round-the-clock defamation of Iran to bring you, Michael Jackson.
Our Zionist-controlled media have temporarily shifted from hysterical denunciation of Iran to pious genuflection before the altar of an androgyne.
To the extent that Iran has been demonized, Mr. Jackson is being canonized — as “the” iconic American entertainer. How strange and at the same time, revelatory.
No white actor may wear blackface today, but Mr. Jackson –who reputedly was once a Black man- -wore permanent whiteface thanks to modern surgery and chemicals. His visage was reportedly collapsing faster than his finances. Where are the photos? Why the coverup?
I don’t lament the demise of blackface “entertainment” by white performers, for, as William N. Grimstad documents in his classic work, “Talk About Hate,” the lowbrow shtick of vaudeville and movie “coon song” blackface was a Judaic art-form perfected by Sophie Kalish (”Sophie Tucker” the “World-renowned coon-shouter”), Asa Yoelson (”Al Jolson”), Edward Israel Iskowitz (”Eddie Cantor”) and Joe Yule (”Mickey Rooney”), promoted by moguls like Louis Lazar (”Louis B. Mayer”) and Max Aronson (”Bronco Billy Anderson”), and such early Zionist movie studios as Selig Polyscope.

Black Defendants in Dallas Corruption Case Sought To Make Whites Pay Up

All the remaining defendants, including five on trial, are black.
The

called a web of intrigue in which black leaders solicited bribes from
white developers because, they said, it was time for those developers
to pay. “The game has done changed,” defendant Darren
Reagan is heard saying on an audio tape played during opening
statements by the prosecution. Defense opening statements
were taking place this afternoon. In a surprising development, Hill's
attorney, Ray Jackson, said his client would take the stand during the

protests, to put pressure on white developers to pay bribes to Hill and
others.

Schwarzenegger
would be better off at least acknowledging the obvious: that illegal
immigration adds significantly to the state’s deficit and that he
wishes he had used the substantial influence of his governor’s office
to do more to minimize it.
Unless the Union-Tribune editors live in a bubble they, like every other Californian with eyes in his head, see the impact of illegal immigration all day every day. In most if not all California cities, no one can walk down any street, shop at any supermarket, get medical treatment at any clinic, take his kid to any school, drive on any road or walk through any park without witnessing ample evidence of how pervasive illegal immigration is.
Here’s a quick formula for calculating at least a part of California’s illegal immigration costs. According to the Department of Education website, California schools had more than 1.5 million non-English speakers enrolled during 2007-2008. The same source indicates that more than 85 percent of them speak Spanish as their primary language.
Conservatively assume that one-third is made up of legal immigrants, one-third anchor babies and one-third illegal aliens. The estimated cost (again conservative) of educating each California student is $8,000 per year—not including special language classes that of course English learners would take. One-third of 1.5 million is 500,000. Multiply 500,000 by $8,000 to arrive at a cost of educating illegal aliens at $4 billion per year.

High Court Rules for White Firefighters in Discrimination Suit

The case has drawn considerable attention not just because of
Sotomayor's role but because of the sympathetic nature of the claim
brought by the firefighters, who said they were discriminated against
simply because of the color of their skin.
The Supreme Court today narrowly ruled in favor of white firefighters in New Haven, Conn., who said they were denied promotions because of their race, reversing a decision by Judge Sonia Sotomayor and others that had come to play a large role in the consideration of her nomination for the high court.
The city had thrown out the results of a promotion test because no African Americans and only two Hispanics would have qualified for promotions. It said it feared a lawsuit from minorities under federal laws that said such "disparate impacts" on test results could be used to show discrimination.
In effect, the court was deciding when avoiding potential discrimination against one group amounted to actual discrimination against another.

The preservation of our genes and our lands is undoubtedly in our best interest.
By Frank Roman
Audio Version
Let's keep it simple. Barack Obama won the presidential election for three reasons: 1] Blacks voted for him on racial terms because he's black. No more, no less. In spite of the euphoria and calls for good will from his disciples it’s get-back time for whitey and many of us knew that from the get go. Before Mr. Obama was elected practically none of his black legion could articulate one policy he had in mind or had ever accomplished. A lot of spineless European American supporters are just as vapid as well; and both groups could care less how badly he wrecks our nation -- as long as he’s black.
2] The alien hyper-leftist white-baiting American media has been prepping and preening the European American psyche for decades to not only accept a black guy in the White House but to actually facilitate it via white shame. The evidence is everywhere in what passes for modern American "culture;" and if you can’t see it by now then you are already a casualty.
3] The omnipotent American federal government and their diversity mongering corporate donors have contributed tremendously to this effort in terms of monies to non-white pressure groups, hate crime legislation directed primarily at European Americans, and PC university indoctrination...effectively scaring European Americans half to death with the risk of white racism, job loss, being black balled, and legal nightmares should they speak out a little too loudly.

Worse, Obama’s plan is “largely the product of extensive conversations” with two lawmakers responsible for the corrupt status quo, Chris Dodd and Barney Frank.
So while the government's push for minority lending has brought down the world financial system, the Obama administration wants to do it again, because they're still worried about racism in the mortgage industry. It's like what Talleyrand said about the French royal family after the Revolution was over:"They have learned nothing and forgotten nothing."
There’s a saying, popular with members of Alcoholics Anonymous, that “Insanity is repeating the same thing over and over, expecting a different result.” Kipling, following Proverbs 26:11, preferred “That the Dog returns to his Vomit,” which refers to the habit of some dogs of trying to re-eat something they couldn’t keep down in the first place.

Sotomayor’s La Raza Uses Taxpayer Money for Radical Agenda

White privilege? La Raza has received more than $30 million (tax dollars) from the federal government since 1996.
If a group of United States citizens trekked to another country, formed
an organization called “The Race,” which demanded open borders,
unfettered immigration and citizenship, billions of dollars for
bilingual education, health care, housing, job and wage guarantees, and
anti-discrimination protection, they would likely soon be jailed or
deported in a display of righteous sovereign indignation. But the
National Council of La Raza engages in all these activities in the
United States, and it receives taxpayer dollars to help promote its
radical views.
Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor is a
member of La Raza. That membership and her own statements have led to
many challenges to her suitability for the High Court. Critics of the
organization and its goals have frequently been labeled as racists, but
that didn’t stop former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R.-Colo.) from calling La
Raza a leftist radical group “a Latino KKK without the hoods or the
nooses.”

Not only is there an anti-white influence, but the business colleges have taught for years anything goes to get more profit and one is cheap labor, no matter what the long term effect. I remember arguing in business school that you won't have anyone in your market to buy your product if you use cheap or foreign labor and import stuff but my arguments fell on deaf ears.
Cheap labor is now starting to erode the tax base and native American whites and other groups are losing their jobs and, like you said, are getting pushed aside.

Federal Reserve Chairman Issues Threat If Audit Goes Forward

Somebody's starting to sweat. Keep the pressure on for a FULL Fed audit. -- Ed.
">.
"My concern about the legislation is that if the GAO is auditing not
only the operational aspects of our programs and the details of the
programs but is making judgments about our policy decisions, that would
effectively be a take over of monetary policy by the congress. A
repudiation of the the independence of the federal reserve, which would
be highly destructive to the stability of the financial system, the
dollar and uh our national economic situation."

LTE: The Demjanjuk Deportation
|
Opinion; Posted on: 2009-06-27 19:33:42 [ Print / Instant Flyer |
|
It is understandable that journalists might misunderstand basic legal
principles. It is not excusable for law professors to do so.
Professor Harry Reicher is wrong about John Demjanjuk and wrong about
the U.S. Justice Department's Office of Special Investigations (which
he mistakenly calls the Office of Special Prosecutions). ["Demjanjuk deportation: a milestone," NLJ, June 8.]
The U.S. government has indeed pursued John Demjanjuk for more than
three decades. The old adage "justice must be seen to be done" is a
good starting point.
For the first decade and one-half, that pursuit consisted of the
DOJ committing fraud on the courts of the United States and Israel.
This fraud, documented by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th
Circuit, consisted of the DOJ failing to disclose documents that showed
that Demjanjuk was not "Ivan the Terrible," a brutal Treblinka guard.
Based on the fraudulent evidence, Demjanjuk was extradited to Israel
and sentenced to death. His family uncovered the truth, and the Israel
Supreme Court acquitted him.

Obama Says There's No Consensus on Immigration Reform

Immigration; Posted on: 2009-06-27 14:03:45 [ Print / Instant Flyer |

And we say good.
Pres. Barack Obama took the first step on Thursday towards immigration
reform and an amnesty for more than 11 million illegal aliens. Members
of the Administration met with 30 Members of Congress from both sides
of the issue and both sides of the aisle to get the debate rolling, but
Pres. Obama said after the meeting that there was "not by any means
consensus across the table."
Despite the differing opinions on how to handle the illegal alien
population, how to secure the borders and how to monitor the flow of
future immigrants, Pres. Obama said he's committed to getting an
amnesty through Congress.
"It's going to require some heavy lifting," Pres. Obama said. "It's
going to require a victory of practicality and common sense and good
policy making over short-term politics. That's what I'm committed to
doing as president.

California, Here We Come!

Los Angeles, which is what most large American cities will look like,
is the most diverse city on earth. Has diversity been a strength?
In just a few weeks time, California hits the wall. And
Americans should take a good, long look at the fiscal and social wreck
of the Golden Land, because California is at a place to which all of
America is heading. In May, when five fund-raising proposals were
put on the ballot, Gov. Schwarzenegger pleaded with the overtaxed
Californians not to make their state "the poster child for dysfunction." As The Economist writes, "On May 18th, they did exactly that."
Arnold went to the White House for U.S. loan guarantees for new state
bonds. But with the president's approval rating wilting because of a
belief he is spending too much, the Obama-ites slammed the door.

The Supreme Court Nominee Who Can't Write
|
News/Comment; Posted on: 2009-06-26 22:27:54 [ Print / Instant Flyer |
|
The concern is the extent to which the affirmative
action mindset has permeated our society, watering down standards and
discriminating against more qualified applicants.
Supreme Court opinions are words for the generations that can affect
the lives and welfare of millions. No one doubts that Supreme Court
nominee Sonia Sotomayor has a compelling life story. But more to the
point, we need to inquire about her aptitude to draft
thoughtfully-reasoned, well-crafted legal opinions.
On this count, there is reason for worry.
Sotomayor herself has admitted, "Writing remains a challenge for me
even today...I am not a natural writer." Reporter Stephanie Mencimer
has characterized Sotomayor's legal opinions as "good punishment for
law students who show up late for class."
A cursory pass of Sotomayor's writings reveals them to be clumsy to the
point of being impenetrable. This comes from her "wise Latina" speech:
"I also hope that by raising the question today of what difference
having more Latinos and Latinas on the bench will make will start your
own evaluation."
So exactly what does "start your own evaluation" mean?

Leahy's Hate Bill Hearing a Sham

Political Correctness; Posted on: 2009-06-26 15:46:24 [ Print / Instant Flyer |

Foul!
By Rev. Ted Pike
Today Sen. Patrick Leahy delivered on his promise to hold a federal hate bill hearing. Yet it was meant to only further his agenda, strongly slanted against opponents of the hate bill.
Attorney Gen. Eric Holder and three other hate bill witnesses chosen by Leahy had a four-to-two advantage over opponents of S. 909, the Matthew Shephard Hate Crimes Prevention Act. The two pro-freedom witnesses surprisingly included Gail Heriot, one of the six members of the US Commission on Civil Rights who have publicly opposed the hate bill. Leahy's time restrictions (little more than two hours) forced these outnumbered patriots, led by the excellent arguments of Sen. Jeff Sessions, to severely narrow their objections.
