Bob Barr, a onetime Republican congressman from Georgia, on Monday announced his plan to run for president as a Libertarian, promising to rein in federal spending and limit military involvement abroad.

"The government has run amok fiscally," Barr said at a news conference. During the first quarter of this year, he said, the private sector lost millions of jobs while the federal government was "hiring with enthusiasm."

Agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement entered the Agriprocessors complex in this northeast Iowa community of 2,500 during morning work hours, executing warrants for fraudulent use of others' Social Security numbers in connection with their employment at the plant. The packing plant has attracted workers from Mexico, Russia, Ukraine and elsewhere.

Nathaniel Popper, a journalist who has written about Agriprocessors for The Jewish Daily Forward, based in New York, said the raid could disrupt the supply of kosher meat.

"This could have a big impact on the supply of kosher meat in America," Popper said in an interview. "Over the next several days, that's going to be the big question for people in the Jewish community who keep kosher."

"While we believe that there could be illegal immigrants here, residents need to understand that some of them are here legally".

As the mob marched on through the streets of Alexandra, Lungile Ndiweni crashed through the narrow alleys between shacks and collapsed facedown in the sand.

The 30-year-old from Zimbabwe had spent five years in South Africa, but in less than 24 terror-filled hours he had become a mortal enemy.

Obama's bill S2433 would require the U.S. to initially direct .7 percent of our GNP into the United Nations coffers for distribution as they see fit, for "food" to third world nations. Under earlier agreements this would evolve into a national tax on the U.S. with the UN attempting to levy this on all first world nations.

The U.N. would have the power to increase this rate of taxation.

The U.S. would be required to surrender some of its sovereignty over foreign aid by putting it under UN control. The bill would force the U.S. to sign onto the U.N.'s Millennium Declaration, which would commit us not only to "banning small arms and light weapons" but also to adhere to the International Criminal Court Treaty and the Kyoto Protocol. We may have to keep quiet for awhile and get our hands dirty; reworking the direction of government by engaging the system for the benefit of our people.

Well friends, it looks like, Barack Obama’s immense victory in North Carolina has pretty much confirmed his Democratic presidential nomination; at least that’s what all of the talking gas bags seem to believe. For Hillary Clinton to overcome him in the popular vote or in the elected delegate group would be nothing short of a miracle, they tell us. And maybe they’re right because as Al Sharpton continues to say whenever he spots a television camera; any kind of super delegate mischief that would cast doubt on the Black Prince's impending coronation will lead to massive unrest at the Democratic Convention in Denver which obviously would be devastating for his precious Democratic Party. I’m sure these so-called super delegates appreciate the very real likelihood of a violent race riot taking place because they voted incorrectly. In other words if Hillary wins the convention by some stroke of luck you had better avoid non-white areas if you value your life. I mean really, do you think Sharpton would promise civil strife over the Irish descended Hillary Clinton being pushed out of the nomination? Unless Barak Obama or one of his operatives really steps in it however I’d say he’s the man who will face off against the amnesty king, John Insane McCain.

On May 7^th  Faiz Shakir, Amanda Terkel, Satyam Khanna, Matt Corley, Ali Frick, and Benjamin Armbruster – none of whom are Hispanic, it seems --said the following:

"And what happens to white people?" Savage wondered. "That's the real question here. Will our brown brethren, who are so nationalistic and so anti-gringo and anti-Anglo, be as enlightened as the European-American is? I don't think so."

Within the context of this entire piece, it is clear you and your peers hold a vicious animus toward persons of European descent. The mere fact you bemoan the idea that a growing number of us wish to maintain some kind of genetic continuity causes to suffer your psychotic altruistic world view. You have made it abundantly clear that a majority population of Caucasian Americans is detrimental. In your vicious minds that qualifies as hatemongering? It's a happy Mother's Day for an Arkansas woman — she's pregnant with her 18th child. Michelle Duggar, 41, is due on New Year's Day, and the latest addition will join seven sisters and 10 brothers. There are two sets of twins.
 
 "We've had three in January, three in December. Those two months are a busy time for us," she said, laughing.

The Duggars' oldest child, Josh, is 20, and the youngest, Jennifer, is nine months old.

The fast-growing family lives in Tontitown in northwest Arkansas in a 7,000-square-foot home. All the children — whose names start with the letter J — are home-schooled.

Duggar has been been pregnant for more than 11 years of her life, and the family is in the process of filming another series for Discovery Health.

The University of Washington is offering $1,000 and a place in history to someone who can come up with a new school anthem.

The school has its fight song — "Bow Down to Washington" — but little else to evoke school spirit at commencements, on bus trips and, of course, at football games. While "Louie Louie" and "Tequila" are popular tunes at games, they say nothing about the Husky experience.

The current alma mater, or school song, has never proved popular since it was written in the early 1900s. It even contains a potentially offensive line: "You're the mother of a mighty race."

On Monday, hate radio king Rush Limbaugh appeared on Fox News for five minutes to discuss the presidential race and managed to make an offensive comment. Limbaugh called Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (D), who is Hispanic, a "shoe shine guy." Yesterday, Alex Nogales, president of the National Hispanic Media Coalition, blasted Limbaugh for uttering "the same kind of nasty, bigoted, racist type comment that has become so prevalent in today's society, as practiced by Lou Dobbs, as practiced by [Sean] Hannity, [Bill] O'Reilly, [Michael] Savage." Racial slurs, particularly fueled against Hispanics, has found a home on right-wing radio, which claims 91 percent of radio airwaves. The nation's leading Hispanic advocacy group, National Council of La Raza, launched a campaign earlier this year decrying right-wing radio for its "rhetoric that demonizes immigrants and Hispanic Americans."

I don't know who it's aimed at; I think idiots who read comic books and never grew up but who are (considered) adults.  Older people aren't going to like it. 

I am referring to the movie that opened Friday night directed by the Wachowski Brothers. Speed Racer is bad in many ways. 

A weird hyper-pigmented l/3 real people, l/3 cartoon and l/3 video gameish race scenes constitutes a flop.

The scenery is so bright with primary colors like red houses, orange shirts, etc. that it steals attention from the dialogue and storyline.  The only person who holds his own is Roger Allam of V for Vendetta bad guy fame, who plays the heavy in this. This movie is definitely anti-corporate America.  (Don't worry, we'll be Third World soon.  Look at the caliber of high school and college graduates these days, not to mention the invasion and imports).

Despite the feelings of those who might be against white women who date black men, the truth is that in the majority of mixed marriages, it is the man who is white.

"According to Census data, the most common type of interracial couple in 2000 was a white husband married to an Asian wife; this pairing comprised 14 percent of all interracial couples. Black husbands and white wives accounted for 8 percent of all interracial couples. The Census data also show that in 2000 73% of all black-white married couples the husband is black, while in 75% of all Asian-white couples, the husband is white."

The Society of Professional Journalists has decided that it is best to leave a suspect's race out of crime reporting except for "extraordinary" reasons. Of course, to the SPJ, "good reporting" means race info in a story about crime isn't "useful to people in the community" even if the race of a suspect is part of a police report apparently. Despite their claim that they aren't toeing the PC line, their explanation is filled with just the sort of reasoning based on PC thinking -- one of which is that all whites are racists.

Some of you may remember the story in September of 2007 when the Sacramento Bee announced that they were revisiting their policy of including race in their crime stories. A particularly gruesome crime occurred that brought the Bee to revisit their policy when they reported on the suspect leaving out race while Internet reporting as well as the Bee's own comments section on their internet posting of the story reported the race of the suspect anyway.

The introduction, by editor Stéphane Courtois, states that that "...Communist regimes...turned mass crime into a full-blown system of government". Using unofficial estimates he cites a death toll which totals 94 million, not counting the "excess deaths" (decrease of the population due to lower than the expected birth rate). After much anticipation on the set of ABC's Brothers & Sisters, a wedding cake has arrived. The four-tier creation — adorned with flowers and blackberries — is locked in a freezer, out of sight from the curious cast members, who are wondering what the cake topper looks like.

Spotting a prop woman with the topper in her hands, Matthew Rhys — whose character, Kevin, weds Sunday (10 p.m. ET/PT) in the show's Season 2 finale — calls her over. "Is it a man and a woman?" he asks. Getting a closer look, Rhys smiles and says, "Oh, it's two men. Fantastic. There were jokes made that they wouldn't be able to find two men, so they'd have to doctor the woman by adding a moustache."

This is no typical TV wedding. It's a gay commitment ceremony — the first same-sex union on American network TV between series regulars.

"It's all very progressive, evolved and about time," says Rhys.

"It's a milestone, and I was really quite pleased that I got to be a part of it," echoes Calista Flockhart, who plays Kevin's big sis Kitty.
