While EAU understands the authors’ concern with regard to the faux duality between White men and women, the greater threat to European American males is the incessant propagandizing in the mainstream media of White male inferiority compared to non-white races.
SIOUX CITY — Let me state from the beginning that I like women. In fact, I’m married to a very wonderful, pretty, hard-working woman. There are great women I work with at my current job and have absolutely no problem in doing so. I have no problem in them achieving whatever goals they desire.
My problem is with the way that the entertainment and advertising media denigrates the white American male. There were a couple of shows I watched regularly in past years: Tim Allen’s “Home Improvement” and Ray Romano’s “Everybody Loves Raymond.” Here were two men, who both were the sole income providers for their families, and yet they were portrayed as idiotic, incompetent, insensitive idiots. Many of the sitcoms have the same format.
