An un-American Story: Hate Crimes and Special Victims

It is human nature to resent groups and individuals deemed more special than others.

WASHINGTON: The fallacy of hate-crime laws — the prosecution of which requires a degree of mind-reading not yet available to most Earthlings — has been cast into stark relief the past few weeks following an interracial rape-murder that has bestirred white supremacists and led to death threats against an African-American columnist.

The spark that caused the firestorm was the brutal rape-murder of a young white couple, Channon Christian and Chris Newsom, who were carjacked last January in Knoxville, Tenn. Five blacks — four men and a woman — have been charged in connection with the slayings.

Because the story didn’t receive national media attention, some commentators and others have asserted that the media do not treat racial crimes equally. They point out that when a black stripper charged three white members of the Duke University lacrosse team with rape, the national media grabbed the story by the ankle and wouldn’t let go. Not so Knoxville.

The perception of media bias* is understandable — and a credible case can be made that the media rushed to condemn the Duke athletes because it fit a recognizable racial narrative, especially in the South. But while race was clearly a factor in stimulating media interest, other factors absent from the Knoxville case — privilege, town and gown conflicts, politics, underage drinking and the name Duke — also added to the broader “story” appeal.

Unless someone has deliberately chosen to ignore reality- and in America people are free to do just that, journalists included- you cannot be unaware of the overwhelming number of cross racial crimes that target White citizens. In the case of rape, for example, there are less than 10 white on black rapes for every 100,000 black on white rapes.

Ms. Parker quoting the statistics provided by an organization like the ADL- an organization convicted of spying on American citizens and found liable and forced to pay the single largest settlement in US history for, ironically, defamation- is simply pathetic were it not so completely expected.

This article, like everyone of it’s type before it is a boiler plate copy. Tell White Americans that they have nothing to fear because the rapes and torture murders they endure at the hands of a criminal underclass made up almost exclusively of blacks aren’t “hateful”, they are some kind of payback/reparations/love crime and as such are not that big of a deal. Quote the ADL or the SPLC- the most biased and anti White organizations in America outside of La Raza.

Whites have more than legitimate reasons to be resentful of and angry with a media that desperately belabors the fiction of a multicultural utopia that more closely resembles a charnel house than anything else. Whites are resented, hated, preyed upon and fed up with the never ending excuses for the depredations they are forced not only to suffer, but to subsidize.

Nice try, Kathleen, but we’re not buying.
