ABRAM — A man who shot at a U.S. Border Patrol agent this weekend remains at large, federal authorities said Sunday.
No injuries were reported in the Saturday attack, the details of which are still under investigation, local FBI spokesman Jorge Cisneros said.
The incident occurred in the small border community of Abram, near Penitas, where an agent attempted to pull over a suspected smuggler around 10 a.m.
The man attacked the agent, who fired at least two shots in self-defense. At some point during the stop, the alleged smuggler fired back but missed the agent.http://www.themonitor.com/news/agent_3962___article.html/border_fired.html
