“Christmas is a British Thing”

Joey Smith, the exciting new GWR artist has released a Christmas song duet with Colin Auty, and a host of patriotic names to join him in this very British Christmas song.
Joey Smith decided to write a Christmas song that expressed the traditional British nature of the festive season.
At the recording were BNP leading figures such as Nick Griffin, John Walker and Mark Collett who joined in with a crowd of other patriots to lend their backing vocals to Christmas is a British Thing.
We asked Joey Smith what inspired him to write a festive track: “I wanted to put the sense of Britishness back into Christmas. It’s fun, its got cheese galore, so it is in the tradition of Christmas songs. Obviously it is nothing like the material I am currently recording in the studio at the moment, but this was a fun distraction for a day”.Strength to Strength
GWR goes from strength to strength at the moment, and with quality albums such as the big selling Truth Hurts and West Wind, there is more to come as Joey is busy in the studio with GWR producer Alan Smith creating some of the most modern nationalist music ever to be recorded.
