It’s not just Senator Hillary Clinton who has Indian American supporters. The http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=2764 Presidential Committee recently announced that Anjali Lathi, of Fremont, California, will serve as its district chair for California’s 13th congressional district, which includes portions of Alameda and Santa Clara counties.
Ms Lathi joins other chairs from across California who work to spread Mr Giuliani’s “message of fiscal conservatism and strong leadership throughout the state”, a press release said.
A San Francisco Bay Area resident since 1991, Lathi has worked as a lawyer and currently serves as an elected official with the local waste water agency. She also holds a real estate broker’s licence and works as a real estate loan consultant with Residential Pacific Mortgage in Fremont. “Rudy is proving to be the Republican candidate best positioned to win in California,” Giuliani’s California state chairman Bill Simon said in a press release. “It is important to have local and grassroots leadership to turn out supporters and that is exactly what the campaign is accomplishing throughout the state.”
