“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” — John F. Kennedy
Fox News has made its bones off of being a fake news agency. Everyone knows it including them. While it may have worked for several years the lustre has begun to fade and the people are waking up to the damage it has done to mainstream media. Granted, most mainstream media is really no better than Fox News, as they are all corporate controlled mouthpieces by companies that are in bed with Washington and the war machine. When Fox News’ Carl Cameron asked TX Republican Ron Paul if he was “electable” we can be sure he and his bosses expected Dr. Paul to “flip out” or at least stumble into lasting obscurity. He didn’t. His answer to such a disrespectful question coming from the mouth of a paid hack was as inspiring and revealing as anything the American public has ever heard. The other Ron — as in Reagan — the ostensible icon of the fake right in today’s America, would have been proud.
Then “the machine” kicked in. According to sundry bloggers and countless patriots monitoring the deplorable treatment of Ron Paul a subsequent rebroadcast of the January 10th debate excluded the “electability” question and Dr. Paul’s spirit lifting response. This is what happens when people try to laugh off the power of truth. Because Fox News has been tolerated as being unbiased they have been at the national table hosting debates and steering public opinion rather than reporting the news. On the stage were five men who were battling over who could blow the world up better, and Dr. Paul. Fox tried their best to marginalize Paul as best they could. But thanks to the internet they have not only failed; they have also revealed the ugly nature of corporate manipulation the “crazies” and the “extremists” have been warning about for decades. — Frank Roman
