In fact, gangsta rap, which lionizes drug abuse, murder, hatred of white people and violence against women is targeted towards young white males, who are the primary consumers of the genre.
Keys also reportedly contended that the (in)famous “East Side/West Side” war between http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=1675 machinegun pendant “to symbolize strength, power and killing ’em dead,” allegedly pledged a revolutionary path. If the late Black Panther Huey Newton had “had the outlets our musicians have today, it’d be global. I have to figure out a way to do it myself.”
Ironically, Huey Newton (a highschool illiterate), died on an Oakland, California sidewalk in 1989, shot over a crack cocaine deal gone wrong. A light skinned black like Alicia Keys, Huey likewise was a recipient of valuable media attention.
