But a lot of it is due to the fact that the dollar has been collapsing against foreign currencies for some time now, which really heated up after Bush began bankrupting our economy with his Iraq war, all based on lies. And a lot of it is due to speculation by commodity traders that a bankrupt America, with its already overstretched military, is about to attack Iran. And the Israelis claim that Bush told them the other day that the US sees the need for “tangible action” on Iran:
“We are on the same page. We both see the threat … And we both understand that tangible action is required to prevent the Iranians from moving forward on a nuclear weapon,” Olmert spokesman Mark Regev said on Friday.
Regev described diplomatic efforts so far to exert pressure on Iran as “positive”, but added: “It is clearly not sufficient and it’s clear that additional steps will have to be taken”.Yeah, Israel and Bush “agree”, just as they did on the need to attack Iraq. Israel and Bush both “see the threat”, just like with Iraq. And, just as with Iraq, it’ll be American boys getting their heads blown off, while our “strategic ally” sits it out. Of course, while American boys are dying in Iran, Israel and the neocons in the US government and media will be busy whipping up a war frenzy for America to attack Syria on behalf of Israel.
