Clinton compares her campaign to abolitionism

With no chance of winning the nomination according to Democratic selection rules, Clinton is now demanding that Michigan and Florida, whose state party organizations dropped out of the nomination system, have their votes counted after all. Why? Because according to Clintonian math, the inclusion of those states would give her a slight lead over Obama in “popular votes,” the gross number of ballots cast in her favor nationally as opposed to the numbers of delegates from each state who are counted towards the nomination under the rules she and Obama have both been following, until now.
Absolutely unashamed of her manipulations, Clinton is now touting her plan to hijack the convention by dropping her recent racial appeal to white workers, (easy to do with West Virginia and Kentucky already having http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=4687 and voted for her), and switched back on her political correctness, claiming that she is acting out of the same “pure motives” that lay behind abolitionism and the battle for women’s suffrage!In a speech praising abolitionists, who campaigned for war against the Southern slave holding states, suffragettes, “civil rights pioneers” and others, Clinton pulled out all the PC stops:
“This work to extend the franchise to all of our citizens is a core mission of the modern Democratic party,” she said. “From signing the Voting Rights Act and fighting racial discrimination at the ballot box to lowering the voting age so those old enough to fight and die in war would have the right to choose their commander in chief, to fighting for multi-lingual ballots so you can make your voice heard no matter what language you speak.”
America will suffer no matter who becomes President. McCain, Clinton and Obama all stand for ideas and principles that will draw the US even closer to eventual dissolution. Still, one thing is for certain.
