The article on Comedy Central’s “Indecision 2008” is highly typical of a certain brand of insular, sheltered liberal who assumes that “all decent people” agree with him or her. Hence the adolescent sounding title “Shocking Development! Jerome Corsi, Author of Factually-Challenged Anti-Obama Screed, Also Racist Piece of S**t”
I know people who actually talk like this, and they are without exception television addicts. Every reference in their life comes from cable TV and movies, their fondest memories are of movies, and their lives are scheduled around TV Guide. They develop a uniformity of language and thought, and they blog at places like DailyKos and Firedoglake. I can’t fault them for being glad to find like-minded bloggers, but what they don’t realize is that there is a much larger reality outside of the Manichean universe of television which presents them with very simple and childish binaries of good-evil. In their world a “liberal” or “progressive” is goooood, and anyone who deviates from the liberal/progressive view is “a racist piece of s**t.”
The Comedy Central writer also uses a common slur againstEuropean-Americans and attempts to ridicule anyone who doubts theofficial 911 story. Only the most information sheltered person willfail to see through such writing.
Of course the realities of the world at large will soon enough beimpinging on TV nation. And others who are not as simple-minded alsoread Comedy Central, and have been given the excellent opportunity offinding James Edwards radio show!

Aw, man, this must be a nightmare for the Obama people. Not only arethey gonna lose votes from hardcore conservatives who fill up theirshelves with “books” “written” by “people” like Ann Coulter, SeanHannity and Michelle Malkin, but now they’re gonna lose the racistwhite trash vote?!
