They didn’t know their microphones were on.
Peggy Noonan, a speechwriter for Ronald Reagan, is one of the mostpopular “conservatives” in the media. Dittoheads and FOX fans love her.Her columns appear in one of America’s most prestigious papers, The Wall Street Journal. And she’s a bald faced liar, who says one thing in her column, and the exact opposite when she thinks no one is listening.
Noonan has a column out today, linked to on Drudge, that talks about the “bold” selection of Palin. She said Palin “is a real and present danger to the American left, andto the Obama candidacy.” That’s what she tells her gullibleconservative fans. But later today, she was discussing McCain’s choiceof Palin on MSNBC when she didn’t know her microphone was on. And whatshe had to say then was the exact opposite of what she wrote in hercolumn. You can read about it here.
Two of the Republican party’s most respected andwell-known political strategists were caught unawares on an openmicrophone tonight ridiculing the choice of Sarah Palin as JohnMcCain’s running mate.
Peggy Noonan, a former speechwriter for the first President Bush anda conservative, and Mike Murphy, who has advised both Mr McCain andMitt Romney in the past, began discussing Mrs Palin after appearing onan MSNBC political talk show, both believing they were no longer on air.
Murphy: “It’s not going to work!”
Noonan: “It’s over… They went for this, excuse me, politicalbull**** about narratives. Every time Republicans do that… they blowit.”
She also said “it’s over.”
It’s all a game. All these media “conservatives” are constantlylying through their teeth, because they know there’s big money in it.Bill O’Reilly’s preaching family values while he’s making obscene phonecalls to his female staffers. Check out the background of“conservative” Michael Savage sometime if you want some interestingreading. And does anyone think the WSJ will fire Noonan for lyingthrough her teeth in their paper? Right. Drudge is already covering upfor Noonan; there’s no way he’s not aware of this story, but he hasn’tmentioned the broadcast. But he did take down the link to Noonan’scolumn, which had been at the top of his page until left wing bloggersdiscovered this audio.
