group misrepresentation the Anti Defamation League has been very active in
seeking controls on what it calls &quot;hate speech,&quot; and in 1988 it developed
statutory language for a law banning ethnic intimidation: <span style=”font-style: italic;”>&quot;Any oral,
written or symbolic speech, published with malice that debases, degrades or
calls into question the loyalties, abilities or integrity of members of a group
based on a characteristic that is allegedly common to the members of that
group, or by its very utterance inflicts injury upon members of a group, or
promotes animosity against a group.&quot;</span><o:p /></font></span></p>

intentional or otherwise, that concerns us; and we feel there is a
preponderance of that kind of negative representation towards European Americans in what
passes for today’s modern culture. In light of this we are forced to question the
motivation and mindset of such a vast array of negativity. Rest assured
however, that European Americans United does not wish to impede or prevent free
speech <span style=”font-style: italic;”>in any manner whatsoever,</span> and our aspiration to preserve free speech
certainly includes television commercials, the printed word and other medium.
But we do unambiguously insist that if Brinks is going to depict criminal
activity in order to sell home security systems it is important, and certainly life affirming,, that an
accurate depiction of the <span style=”font-style: italic;”>most likely </span>perpetrators be presented to the viewing
public. To do otherwise <span style=”color: black;”>with a baseline
of slurs, hate caricatures and negative stereotypes</span> at the expense of
European Americans is truly unacceptable to a broad range of citizens.</span></font></p><p style=”font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;” class=”MsoNormal”>  <font size=”2″ style=”font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;”>In fact we cannot help but believe that Brinks Home Security is heavily influenced if not directed by political correctness.</font><br /><font size=”2″><span><o:p /></span></font></p>
