Here are just a few of the many national Jewish organizations endorsingthe project: the American Jewish Committee, the Anti-Defamation League,B’nai B’rith International, the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, theJewish Reconstructionist Federation, the National Council of JewishWomen, the Rabbinical Assembly, the Union for Reform Judaism. Thus a galaxy of national Jewish organizations supports this campaignto end workplace raids and other immigration enforcement, all under therubric that “we [Jews] were strangers in the land of Egypt.”
What they are explicitly saying, as a national Jewish coalition, is that as Jews, they are required by their Jewishtradition to seek to undermine American law and sovereignty and allowAmerica to be invaded by a mass immigration of illegal aliens.
I have said before that when Jews declare that as Jews they are required to strive for open borders, when as Jews they demand U.S. national suicide, that allows critics to criticize Jews as Jews, and not just as generic “liberals.” This is the strongest case of that nature I’ve ever seen.[T]hese Jews using the Torah as their authority on U.S. immigrationpolicy are not even religious Jews, but secular, liberal Jews (ReformJews and Reconstructionist Jews don’t believe in the God of the Bible),who have transformed selected elements of the Jewish religion into aleftist political ideology to be imposed on non-Jews. Perhaps, just asIslam is not a religion but a political ideology aimed at thedestruction of our country, secular liberal Judaism ought to be seen inthe same light. People who stand for America, as distinct from peoplewhose primary identification is with a distinct minority group, need tosay to these Jewish organizations, “This is wrong. You as Jews, a tinyminority, have no right to be trying to impose your alienated liberalJewish agenda on this country. If you want to be accepted by us, themajority, then you must accept this country, accept its laws,sovereignty, and culture, and stop trying to undermine it.”
