“BE IT RESOLVED, That the Republican Party is theparty of the open door. Ours is the party of liberty, the party ofequality, of opportunity for all, and favoritism for none.”
by Chris Erikson
Recently, I came across someone who seemed confident that the GOPrepresented, faithfully, the interests of White Americans. He told methat I was out of line to suggest otherwise. Curious, I asked him if hecould help me identify some of the things the Republicans do to helpWhite people out. As he was quick to point out that I was incorrect inmy assertion, I figured it would be a simple task for him to name justone thing the Republicans do specifically in the interest of ourpeople. It is clear that they do things in the interest of otherpeoples; for example, they introduced a bill that would legalize, andthus reward, criminal aliens trespassing into our country — a move thatwould benefit millions of illegal immigrants at our expense.
However, he was either unwilling or unable to point out anything inparticular that the Republican party does in the interest of Whitepeople, to whom he says the party actually caters. Instead, he grewangry. He told me that I was a racist and that he couldn’t identifyindividual things the party did in the interest of Whites because everythingthe party and the entire government does is in our interest — asidefrom that amnesty bill, affirmative action, and other quotas andset-asides, of course.
Well, it seems that the GOP website agrees with the fellow I wastalking to on the notion that Whites have already got everything theyneed. When one registers a myGOP profile at the site, he or she canchoose from among a list of issues and interests the GOP believes arerelevant. Not surprisingly, one can choose from among several racialand ethnic categories, but there seems to be one category missing inaction. See if you can figure out which one it is:
In keeping with the Republican tradition of saying one thing anddoing another, the Republican National Committee’s preamble to rulessupposedly governing itself starts with this precious gem:
“BE IT RESOLVED, That the Republican Party is the party of the open door. Ours is the party of liberty, the party of equality, of opportunity for all, and favoritism for none.”
Favoritism for none, huh? It seems that the GOP favors the interestsof everybody but European-Americans. Maybe the preamble should berevised to reflect this strange practice. The party might also considerreplacing the word liberty with something better suited to describe theact of colluding with alien peoples against the wishes of Americancitizens.
While there may be no hope for the gentleman with whom I wasspeaking, there is hope for the rest of us. The American National Partystands ready to serve the interests of our people.
