The British National Party’s national call centre has received justunder 12,000 calls in the first fifteen minutes following thisevening’s first national television broadcast, reports partyadministration consultant Jim Dowson.
Talking to BNP News following the highly successful broadcasts, MrDowson said the sheer volume of calls meant that it was impossible forthe call centre to take each and every one.
“The software we are using records each number, so if someone wasunable to reach us, they can rest assured that we will call them backshortly,” he said.
“The response to being called back has been “fabulous. Most people areshocked to actually be called back by a political party,” Mr Dowsonsaid.
“When we add in the fact that the first batch of mail was over 30kilograms in weight and contained tens of thousands of replies, thescale of the BNP’s appeal becomes apparent,” he said.
The party has had to acquire an automatic letter opening machine justto cope with the mail flow. The machine can open 17,000 letters anhour, and after that the opened items are taken to our six speedtypists who capture all the data,” he said.
Of the incoming mail, about two thirds contains requests forinformation packs, and the remaining third contains membershipapplications.
“There can be no doubt that the BNP is the fastest growing party inEurope,” Mr Dowson continued. “All of this bodes extremely well for theforthcoming elections and squarely contradicts all the lies that themedia have told about the BNP,” he said.
* The BNP website was subjected to no less than three separate Denialof Service attacks from the time of the first TV broadcasts today at5:30 pm, reports webmaster Simon Bennett. “The new system we put intoplace to ward off such attacks proved resilient and we were able todeflect all of them,” Mr Bennett said.
“This was in addition to the massive surge in genuine traffic at thetime of the TV broadcasts. People who responded to the last emergencyappeal will be gratified to know that the expert technology and help weenlisted has paid handsome rewards.”
