The call was organized for the benefit of local leaders, who came together to share ideas and better organize.
Just having accepted its 100th member into the party, the American Third Position held its first ever national conference call on Saturday, April 10, finding it necessary to facilitate communication amongst a rapidly-expanding membership base. The call, which was organized by both Jamie Kelso and the Arkansas A3P, was joined by about 20 party members and lasted for slightly better than an hour. Nearly the whole of the continent was represented, with members calling in from as far west as Alaska and as far east as Florida.
The conference was organized in order to offer local leaders throughout the country the opportunity to interface with one another and with party leadership in Southern California. It was an excellent forum for exchanging ideas, determining where resources might need to be allocated in future, and delegating further responsibility to eager party members.Party Chairman, Bill Johnson, was on the line to answer questions and to give guidance, and Dr. Kevin MacDonald joined in to encourage members to continue public outreach efforts in their respective communities, something, he says, is essential to challenging the political orthodoxy that is dismantling our way of life. But, mostly, the call was organized for the benefit of local leaders, who came together to share ideas and better organize.
Reports came in from across the country as to the status of the pursuit of party leaders to acquire access to the ballot in their respective states. The team in Florida was pleased to announce both its having organized a leadership and the following submittal to the state of its intent to become a recognized party there. The team believes it is only a few weeks away from having the ability to have its registered affiliates tracked by the Florida State Elections Office. In coupling with the A3P in California, this will give about 1 in 6 Americans the opportunity to at least register as affiliated with the American Third Position. This small victory represents a first step forward for the American Nationalist cause.
The conference call was such a success that its organizers plan to make it a regular feature of the A3P activist cycle. Every two weeks, there will be a national conference call. All members will be invited to listen in on the call and hear reports as to the progress of the party, and all leaders will have the ability to interface with state and national leadership. In order to access the members-only conference, members will need to check the appropriate thread in the members-only area of the A3P forum.
