Every once in a while we come across a communication that simply begs for a response. The following letter is so wrong on so many counts its hard to know where to begin. Perhaps someone can help this poor deluded “cosmo girl.” — Ed

The Tea Party Movement seems to be a lot like some Republicans; they want our country to move backwards. Democrats are about moving forward and making progress. After eight years of George W. Bush, it will take a very long time to undo the damage.
In Oklahoma, state legislators are encouraging people to form a civilian militia to protect themselves from the federal government. Is this what “tea baggers” want, to overthrow the government? I think this is called treason.
Get real, people; progress takes time. People like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman are about as insane as anyone. Is that who you want to lead this country?
