As the works of George Orwell proved the most potent weapon in politics is language; or as Kipling stated earlier, “Words are the most powerful drug used by mankind.” In an earlier post I said we should adopt the motto Liberty. Identity. Posterity. Now I want to talk about language in connection with our most important issue: immigration. Everyone knows the most recognized aspect of immigration is illegal immigration from Mexico. Those in our movement recognize what’s really going on is an invasion.
Boiling it down Mexico supports this invasion for 3 reasons:
1. Offloading it’s excess poor population
2. Gaining money from remittances
3. Reconquest of the Southwest
If America actually succeeded if stopping this invasion and sending back the illegals Mexico would collapse because it would have about 30 million more people in its territory and it would lose its estimated 20 billion dollars a year in remittances. For a country to send millions of its population into a foreign territory with the objectives of relieving its home population, financially gaining from the territories, and conquering those territories are all makers of Imperialism. This is what England and the other European countries wanted starting with the Age of Discovery into centuries of Imperialism. This is exactly what Mexico is doing. Immigration is a pretty name for Mexican Imperialism. And this is what we need to call it.
This works to our advantage because despite what the elites do in our name the American people are inherently Anti-Imperialist. From the American Revolution, fighting against Hitler’s march across Europe, Saddam’s invasion of Kuwait, Irish-Americans lingering antimosity to British rule, to even today with Liberal opposition to Israeli occupation of Palestine and Chinese invasion of Tibet; the American imagination revolts against Imperial aggression. Imperialism is antithetical to our cherished beliefs and ideas about Liberty.
Using the phrases “illegal immigration” and “illegal immigrants” works to our enemies’ advantage because it makes the whole thing about legality; if only they would stand in line and sign the right papers everything would be ok! Calling it Mexican Imperialism puts them on the defensive because it marks them with everything Americans have fought against and see as evil.
Call it Mexican Imperialism and nothing else.
