“Just Islamophobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it’s scary.” — Ron Schiller, President of the NPR Foundation and Senior VP of Development at NPR.
I think just about anyone with two neurons to rub together realizes that NPR (National Public Radio) is so far left that it goes beyond mere bias into the realm of using journalism as a tool of left-wing social reform. We don’t really need someone to tell us this — it’s obvious just by listening for sixty seconds.
Nevertheless, because NPR and other sources in the controlled media deny this bias (“Who you gonna believe? Me? Or your lyin’ eyes?”), a little roll-up-your-sleeves investigative journalism — real journalism — might make things more clear to those with only one neuron and who therefore might not already be convinced.
Along comes film maker James O’Keefe, and does a very creative sting. This sting involved a couple of people posing as representatives of a radical Islamic group wishing to donate $5,000,000 to NPR. As part of this, journalists filmed the meeting between Ron Schiller, President of the NPR Foundation and one of his staff and the two fake Muslims.
Within this meeting, Ron Schiller truly revealed what he and NPR are really all about. Here are some tasty quotes:
[quote“The current Republican Party, particularly the Tea Party, is fanatically involved in people’s personal lives and very fundamental Christian – I wouldn’t even call it Christian. It’s this weird evangelical kind of move.” [/quote
[quote“Just Islamophobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it’s scary. They’re seriously racist, racist people.”[/quote
Speaking of the firing of Ron Williams, he said:
[quote“What NPR stood for is non-racist, non-bigoted, straightforward telling of the news and our feeling is that if a person expresses his or her opinion, which anyone is entitled to do in a free society, they are compromised as a journalist … they can no longer fairly report.”[/quote
Obviously unable to appreciate irony, Schiller also notes:
[quote“In my personal opinion, liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives,”[/quote

If, after watching this video, you can’t understand that NPR needs to be federally de-funded now, nothing will convince you.
