The Joys of Socialism

Think about it: How close are we to just such a system and who really benefits?

On several occasions, Bernie Sanders has been asked what exactly a Democrat Socialist was, and each time, he used the opportunity to define his system of government by railing against the wealthy and successful for having too much, income inequality, and the costs to get an education. It is hard to find a clip of the man just defining exactly what a Socialist is, and so we have done that for you:

Socialism has three definitions:

1.) Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

This means that the government owns everything, and decides who does what and who gets what.

2) A system of society or group living in which there is no private property or a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state.

Again, this means nobody owns anything accept the government, and the government decides who gets what.

3) A stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.

This is the most famous definition that is usually described by the Marxist phrase, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” It is a dangerous system of government because it often leads to Communism and the deaths of millions of citizens of whatever country it is implemented in.

So now that we have a basis for what Socialism actually is, let’s take a look at a couple videos that show what Bernie Sanders supporters think it is:
