It is time to create a “landscape of fear”—a simmering dread that changes the behavior and whereabouts of our enemies. Until that happens, nothing will change and it will only get worse.
On Friday evening in Washington D.C., Black Lives Matter protesters took over a Target store and threatened the people in the store, saying that they would shut down the Target if they called the police.
“All black people, living around this neighborhood, living around in this neighborhood, because you prioritize money over people, so until you stop calling the police, we continue to shut your business down,” said a man with a bullhorn who led the charge.
(NOTE: This can only mean BLM (and the sexually ambivalent looking mestizo) thinks blacks should be able to shoplift with impunity.– ed.
Drew Hernandez, a journalist in the area, got the moment on video (Here).
“Black Lives Matter literally threatened @Target today in DC,” Hernandez tweeted. “Apparently if that @Target in DC ever calls the cops on a black person ever again BLM will shut them down. Sounds a lot like what Hawk Newsome said on Fox the other night about ‘burning down the system.’ Radicals.”
Hernandez continued, “I really would like to know why DC Police allowed BLM to trespass into a DC Target to make threats tonight with customers still inside.”
Hernandez’s reference to Hawk Newsome stems from an interview that the Black Lives Matter leader had with Fox News host Martha MacCallum where he threatened to “burn this system” down if he doesn’t get what he wants.
The interview, which took place on Wednesday, started with MacCallum noting how Newsome supports violence to further his political goals.
“Obviously people watch what you say in that video, that you now want to shove legislation down people’s throats now that you have everyone’s attention, and you also have said that violence is sometimes necessary in these situations,” said MacCallum. “What exactly is it that you hope to achieve through violence?”
“Wow, it’s interesting that you would pose that question like that because this country is built upon violence,” Newsome responded. “What was the American Revolution? What’s our … diplomacy across the globe? We go in and blow up countries and we replaced their leaders with leaders who would like. So for any American to accuse us of being violent, it’s extremely hypocritical.”
Newsome bizarrely claimed that him using violence for political reasons was “self-defense,” saying, “it seems to be the hypocrisy of America that when black people start talking about arming themselves and defending themselves, the talk is violent, but when white people grab assault rifles and go to our nation state capitals, it’s all good.”
Newsome then tried baiting MacCallum by asking her what her stance was on the Second Amendment.
“The only reason I posed that first question to you the way that I did it, I watched you talking on a bunch of different interviews today and you said, ‘burn it down,’” MacCallum said. “You said it, ‘burn it down, it’s time.’ So that makes me think that you want to ‘burn it down.’”
“If this country doesn’t give us what we want then we will burn down the system and replace it,” Newsome replied. “All right. And I could be speaking figuratively, I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation. Like let’s be very real and observe the history of the 1960s. When black people were rioting we have their highest growth and wealth and property ownership.”
“When people get aggressive and they escalate their protests, cops get fired, now, you have police officers, you have Republican politicians talking about police reform,” said Newsome. “I don’t condone nor do I condemn rioting, but I’m just telling what I observed.”
He continued, “I just want black liberation and black sovereignty, by any means necessary.”]/b]
