The Mask as Proxy for Oppression

by John Young

They can’t complain that their once beautiful town where they didn’t need locks has now become a diversified shithole … but they can complain about the mask.

Other than an earlier article in which I published the source code for a negative pressure system for virus containment, I have not addressed the Sars-CoV2 virus. Everything around it has become an issue of contention because even the most basic things are seized upon for political advantage, in almost every circumstance there are people angling for a way to turn it into profit, there are conflicts of interest, and governmental authorities have both lied and suppressed information. This creates an environment where lies, misinformation and suppression are so pervasive it is impossible for even a person who is well educated on the issues and technology to reach definitive conclusions.

Before I get to the crux of this article, then, I will put forth a broad outline of what I believe to be true, understanding that my knowledge is imperfect because it is derived from a world of universal deceit, so interpolating the truth from this is difficult. I am aided by the fact I have a pretty decent science background, and also know doctors personally who have dealt with people sick with the virus.

1. The virus is real. People in numerous countries all over the world have submitted sequenced genomes of the virus which, though there are some differences (which is inevitable with a positive-sense single stranded RNA virus) are clearly the same virus. I sincerely doubt that all of these people in dozens of countries and hundreds of labs have all colluded to deceive the public. Some very credible people believe it is man-made and escaped from a lab.

2. The PCR test for the virus is accurate. I have routinely done PCR so I understand the technology, and I read the original paper for the development of the current PCR test. I believe the PCR test, as developed, is accurate both in terms of rejecting false positives and accurately locating positives. However, any such test is only as good as the samples it is given. Furthermore it shouldn’t cost thousands of dollars because other than one reagent, everything it uses is a standard lab consumable.

3. I cannot assess the accuracy of the so-called “rapid test.” I know that many of the antibody tests are iffy.

4. The virus is very easily spread. I have spoken extensively with an expert in this field who has mapped out specific “spreader” events for me in detail. There is no question that some masks, by blocking the respiratory particles of people wearing them, help to reduce the rate of transmission to others. These masks don’t protect you from others, they protect others from you. If everyone wears them, transmission is reduced.

5. The virus is disproportionately dangerous to people with pre-existing conditions and low vitamin D status. It causes issues with blood clots and strokes, and can also kill through an overenthusiastic immune response — i.e. “cytokine storm” — in the lungs. I have discussed this extensively with doctors I know personally as friends who have assured me that these deaths are quite real because they have witnessed them personally. Most people people have mild cases of the disease, some have a serious case but don’t die. There are studies and doctors that indicate that HCQ with Zinc early in the disease improves response.

6. There is a bunch of tomfoolery with the numbers. Although I’m confident some people have died from the virus, I have no idea how many have actually died. It is well-documented at this point that people who merely test positive for the virus but are asymptomatic are being counted as a “covid-19 death” even if they died from some other cause. Likewise, many of the positive cases reported are not backed up by PCR test confirmation, but merely from having been proximate to someone else diagnosed.

7. There is such pervasive misunderstanding of masks I could dedicate an article to that subject alone. It doesn’t help that our highest ranking government officials started off by blatantly lying to the public about the issue, which both goes back to the opening paragraph, and also brings us to the real subject: protesting the masks.

Forget Covid-19 for a minute. The recent clamp-down on wrong-think has been quite severe. The unofficial (with a wink and a nod) government paramilitary enforcers of ideological conformity such as antifa, Huffpo reporters, BLM and so forth have drastically accelerated their persecution of wrong thinkers, at the same time that the window of what you can say without getting in trouble has narrowed considerably. There are people who have had to remove Trump bumper stickers because it was making coworkers feel “unsafe.” That gives you an idea of how hard the clamp down has been. And we all know how pervasive the clamp down has been on social media, and how brazenly financial services companies have refused people even a bank account or the ability to accept payments. Even patronage sites like GoFundMe, Patreon and Funded Justice have shut down some of the mildest “wrong thinkers.” Internet domains have been canceled and denied altogether, DDOS protection for sites containing wrongthink has been denied. And the list goes on.

Meanwhile, the standard person who voted for Trump has been pretty disappointed. Trump is running out of time to “drain the swamp” and has surrounded himself with swamp creatures. Although he has had some modest successess in a few areas, almost nothing he has done will remain intact even one month into the next administration. The high hopes many had for what the President would accomplish have been dashed as they hold on week after week for the 40,000 sealed indictments to finally be unleashed. While the Epstein and Maxwell arrests held promise, the real investigation into the financial side of the operation — which would actually bring the whole thing down — has taken a turn for the worse since the judge tasked to oversee the matter had her husband and son shot — and the son killed — in a brazen attack in her home. But don’t worry, the FBI — the same FBI that oversaw the Ruby Ridge fiasco — is on the case. Which means that gunman will no more likely be found* than the one who killed Seth Rich.

Of course its worse than even all that because people now have to guard their personal lives as well. The fact they think ALL lives actually matter is a dirty secret they must keep from their families lest they be cast into the outer darkness, and from their church lest they be unwelcome. Remember the whole deal of people being disinvited from Thanksgiving dinner because they had (gasp!) voted for Trump?

And now they’ve been told to wear a mask.

They can’t complain that their once beautiful town where they didn’t need locks has now become a diversified shithole, that their daughter is being indoctrinated non-stop to race mix, that their son is being discriminated against for being born the wrong color, that they have had more mandatory sexual harassment seminars than they can take, that their officials are unspeakably corrupt and being controlled through their sexual proclivities and blackmail … they can’t do a damned thing.

But they can complain about the mask.

It’s not really about whether or not the virus that causes Covid-19 is real, or whether the disease is mild. Instead, it’s about small businesses that have been destroyed, but they are unable to fix. It’s not about their woven cotton mask seriously impeding their breathing except in rare cases. It’s about their anger that even on social media they must guard their words. It’s not about whether their body integrity is threatened by wearing a mask to prevent the spread of infection any more than it is threatened by mandatory hand washing. It’s about the fact they are scared to even contribute to those few voices they support for fear of the consequences of discovery. It’s not about which types of masks work better or worse for certain things. It’s really about the high density housing and vouchers that have turned their school into a place no longer safe for their kids.

The mask is not just a mask — it is a symbol of oppression. So the mask is the only protest many people feel they can make. Every other way they turn, they are gagged and tied. But they can take off their mask, and at least in this, they are free. Sort of.

But there is another path. There are things that you can do. You can help us build alternative social service and educational infrastructure. You can help us build our own parallel society. You can contribute to our news site, you can meet with fellow members, and you can do it all anonymously, and never have to use anything that identifies you.

If it were impossible for us to make a difference, the non-stop propaganda and oppression would not be needed.

So instead of protesting the masks, let me make a different suggestion: join us. Go to your job and put on the face they expect. Mouth the platitutes that are required to keep peace with the inlaws. But in the evening, work with us. Start a small business, sell and buy in our parallel economy. Write an article. Learn the one million things you can do, risk free, that if we can multiply, will bring down the Apostles of Epic Evil.

You’re protesting the mask because your protest on that issue is allowed. But we both know it’s a proxy. Join us and engage in meaningful action on the real issues.

* The gunman, who was a lawyer who had previously worked for a law firm known as “the CIA of Wall Street,” which is deeply interconnected with the bank that laundered Epstein’s funds, and which also has a branch in Israel that specializes in assassinations, very conveniently “committed suicide.” So of course, that’s the “end of the case.” It’s pretty obvious there’s a lot more to this, but it will never be explored and — most crucially — that judge has received quite a clear message about how she is expected to conduct this case.
