Labor Day weekend found your host flat on my back doing battle with a nasty form of viral pneumonia. That’s right, it was about as good as it gets. But I wasn’t so out of it not to have noticed the sudden placement of a number of news stories that bode of an ill wind prior to ‘when it all it all goes to hell in a hand basket.’ You’ll see what I mean.
