The public pressure on the Democrat House members must be intense.Many are telling Princess Pelosi that they just can’t vote for thismonstrosity … if they do, they’ll be kicked out of office by angryvoters.
So here’s the problem. Pelosi is 140% dedicated togetting ObamaCare passed. This bill is the portal through which she andother elite Democrats are going to completely re-order Americansociety. It absolutely MUST pass. The Democrats might never haveanother chance to get this much control over the lives of Americancitizens.
So .. what we need here is a way to get this billpassed without jeopardizing the political careers of reluctant Dems. Ifthey could just pass the bill without actually voting on it everythingmight work out. But how do you do that?
This is where the “Deem and Pass” rule comes into effect. PrincessPelosi has ordered her chairwhatever of the House Rules Committee tocreate a “rule” for the Senate ObamaCare bill that would allow it tobecome law without house members actually having to put themselves onthe record by voting. Louise Slaughter, the Rules Committee Czarina,has done just that. It’s called a “self-executing rule,” or “Deem andPass.”
Here’s how it will work:
If you’ve been payingattention you will know that the plan up until the last few days wasfor the House to simply pass the Senate Bill as it stands and send itto The Community Organizer for his signature. Then the House and theSenate would get together and agree on some fixes to the new law andpass them by majority votes in both chambers. Well … that’s notworking any more. House Democrats are frightened. So the new PelosiPlan is to have the House and the Senate pass the fixes without theHouse actually voting on the Senate bill. Buried in the fixes – whichwould be rammed through the Senate with 51 votes – would be a littleclause which states that the House will have been “deemed to havepassed” the Senate bill. So … ta da! The Senate bill and the fixesbecome law without the frightened House members actually having to voteon the Senate bill!
Can you smell the absolute desperation here?
NancyPelosi is actually going to give the congress all of 60 minutes to readthis bill before it gets voted on. This is how the Democrats seizecontrol of almost 20 percent of the American economy.
We justhave to accept that there are a significant number of American voterswho are simply to ignorant to understand what this is all about. TheseAmericans actually believe that these despots give a flying fornicationabout their health care. The only thing that Democrats want to do abouthealth care in this country is CONTROL IT! They know that once theycontrol your health care, they control you. Health care will become thering through your nose .. and the Democrats will be holding the rope.
Isthis the change you voted for? I suspect not, but it’s really hard toadmit that you made a mistake by voting for The Community Organizer,isn’t it? You could start by taking the Obama bumper sticker off yourcar … after all, that sticker has become little more than a symbol ofpathetic ignorance. If you don’t want to be all that obvious, you couldjust make a little phone call to your Democrat congressman and say”Know what? This is really beginning to look like a very bad idea.There’s not much I can do about Obama if he gets to sign it, butthere’s durned sure something I can do about you if you vote for it. Sogive that some thought, whaddaya say?
