Supporting the welfare of ex-services personnel
News article filed by BNP news team
ABEX – the Association of British Ex-Services Personnel – is now up and running. The independent and non-party political association is now taking in members and working on its first campaigns. It also has a superb website at www.abex.org.uk which is well worth book-marking as a favourite.
What ABEX intends to do seems to be well summed up in the ‘Mission Statement’ and ‘Causes To Champion’ sections on its website (see below). BNP members wanting to find out more or who would like to get involved with ABEX will have an ideal opportunity to do so by attending the ABEX stand at the Red, White & Blue Family Festival. While ABEX is not a BNP group, its organisers clearly see that we share a good deal of common ground (particularly opposition to British involvement in foreign quarrels and conflicts where vital British interests are not at stake) and, furthermore, they believe passionately in the freedom of speech and association for which so many past generations of British servicemen have fought and died. So we are very pleased to hear that they are attending the RWB and urge everyone to make them as welcome as they deserve.ABEX MISSION STATEMENT:
The aim of ABEX is to promote and support the welfare of ex forces personnel and their dependants, and those organizations whose agents have risked life and limb in the service of this country, through democratic representation to ensure fair and equitable treatment within our society.
