Why are “jokes” about the church okay, when nearly every other group is protected?
Roman Catholics in the Boston area are reportedly angry about a new advertisement which they say holds the church up to mockery and scorn. The ad for the Equinox Fitness Club, which appears in Boston magazine, depicts four nuns ogling a musclebound naked male who is posing while they sketch him. The legs of the nuns are also exposed.
“It says a great deal about this perverse obsession in both the fashion industry and the advertising industry of exploiting and mocking and sexualizing Catholic religious imagery,” said C.J. Doyle of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts.

But the last group insulted “protected classes” of people, while Dana Jacobson reflected the deep seated hatred held by those who control the mass media for Christians and European American culture in general.
The Christian churches, which have the allegiance of the majority of whites, have been targeted in a relentless cultural campaign for decades. The latest threat they present to the ruling elite is their opposition to social engineering programs like “gay marriage.”
This latest attack on the church institution of the convent is a genuine insult to Western civilization. http://wvwnews.net/story.php?id=2109 formed part of the intellectual vanguard of Europe in the Dark Ages, and helped to develop the modern social service system, as well as schools. Lampooning them as sex mad is a worn out meme which may be funny on middle school playgrounds, and does help to roll back respect for European history and tradition, but is hardly sophisticated.
