Islamic art, science, and philosophy have enriched our lives over many centuries. And finally, Ramadan is also a time to recall the prophet’s message that the best richness is the richness of the soul. This speaks to me, as it speaks to so many others.”
That was British Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s message to Muslims in Britain.This past week the Christian world celebrated Christmas, the season when we consider the incarnation of God into human flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. It’s a holy day that British Christians have celebrated for many centuries. I’d like to share with you some thoughts from Prime Minister Brown’s Christmas message to British Christians. But I can’t. Mr. Brown didn’t offer a Christmas message to British Christians.
